Isaiah 38:2-3  Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the LORD,  (3)  and said, "Please, O LORD, remember how I have walked before you in faithfulness and with a whole heart, and have done what is good in your sight." And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

Trials come in all shapes and sizes. Do you rely on your own strength, or do you run to the Lord?

The Holy One if Istael: What makes God groan?

Isaiah 30:1  "Ah, stubborn children," declares the LORD, "who carry out a plan, but not mine, and who make an alliance, but not of my Spirit, that they may add sin to sin;

In Isaiah 28-33 God groans 6 times. Each groan laments the heart's sin of humanity. They are still true today.

The Holy One of Israel: A Tale of Two Cities

Isaiah 25:8-9  He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the LORD has spoken.  (9)  It will be said on that day, "Behold, this is our God; we have waited for him, that he might save us. This is the LORD; we have waited for him; let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation."
